A round of melodramatic battles, battles is the worst time of The Voice for me, because all the bad decisions get made.
1. [True Colors] - James Massone vs. WADE
I first heard this song, not by Cyndi Lauper, but by Anna Graceman on America's Got Talent. I was quite satisfied by the song, but I knew she wasn't going to make it pass. Oh well. James and WADE were pretty good, except for the fact that WADE was so nervous! He sounded a bit off because of this. All coaches picked James, so Cee Lo picked James.
2. [Love Song] - Mathai vs. Nicolle Galyon
I feel like this was the best one of the night, in a sense that it was the person I wanted to win. I liked the fact that Nicolle wasn't allowed to use her piano, because that would give her too much of an edge. I enjoyed the performance, Mathai was the obvious winner for me, and she won! Adam picked Mathai
3. [(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction] - Moses Stone vs. The LiNE
Wow! I have so many mixed feelings about this battle. One of me says, good job Christina! You want to diversify your team, you have all genres! Another side says, this is The Voice, not The Entertainment. The LiNE obviously had the better voice then Moses, but Moses did have stage presence. Christina ultimately picked Moses. Sending the 2nd 4 Chair turnaround home, after Whitney Myer.
4. [Easy] - Karla Davis vs. Orlando Napier
Worst battle of the night, neither branched out. I was quite disappointed, Adam picked Karla.
5. [I'm Yours] - Naia Kete vs. Jordan Rager
I was quite upset that Naia didn't bloom in her song, it was fitted for her, but she couldn't hit the notes. Jordan was quite good in the song, but he couldn't harmonize. All of the coaches picked Naia, including Blake. Blake picked Naia.
6. [Faithfully] - Tony Vincent vs. Justin Hopkins
I thought this was good. Tony creeps me out a little, because of the Green Day background, let's just say I'm glad he is married and has a kid. This was a decent performance. I loved the Whoa-whoa part. CeeLo picked Tony.
Battles are over! YES! Live Shows starting Monday, @8 on NBC and Tuesday is the results show! starting @9!
